MY FIRST EVER HAPPY POEM!!!

Behind that coffe cup,
he keeps his secrets, secret
and hands me back my confidence
of delicate silver platters
I wish I could give him his,
I wish the world would sto]
just long enough for me
to hold him as we sleep.
The sky is turning yellow
(it's smoking marlboro lights) and I
seem to have no future
devoid of cow and gate.
But still he comforts and he knows
I love him dearly despite
it all and so he smiles
from behind his coffee cup.
