Lol, I would read them, but none of those books sound like my genre type thing. Are they all kind of mystical and dark and magical and stuff? Nope, I don't like those books. But I'm sure someone else will read some of them, seeing as you like them so much. pirat

okay here is a list of books that are, well, AWESOME.

THE TIME TRAVELLERS WIFE- Audrey Niffenegger
appealing to lovers of the impossible (the main character can time travel) but so down to earth and such a heartwrenching love story, anyone will love it i guaranntee.

HIS DARK MATERIALS- Phillip Pullman
Yes, all three of them, because they are amazing.

NOUGHTS AND CROSSES TRILOGY -Malorie Blackman
again another love story but entwined with terrorists and bombings and complete political uproar.

THE LOVELY BONES- Alice Sebold
at the very beginning a 12 y/old girl is murdered. this story is her watching her families lives from heaven and how her murderer gets away.

John Grisham books are always good if you like a thriller

im reading "looking for Andrew McCarthy" by Jenny Colgan at the moment which is a veryvery funny book.

well theres a couple to get your teeth round...

nah, i would classify them as more ... paranormal ... and it's really good ... if you like the idea that our world is not necessarily what the "future" will be ... in other words it's a futuristic tale in a world almost like our own ... but not quite ... you should at least try the first book out ... nah, i take that back ... the first book is kinda boring ... try the second book, and if u like it read the first ... the second is amazing and will get ur attention immediately.

haha, sarah, i've read all of those except looking for andrew mccartney ... they are all very good books ... anything by philip pullman is good ... other books i've found good and thought provoked by alice seibold is lucky (about a college girl who got raped and is gonna have a baby by this guy and she has to "overcome her fears" to remember everything she can about the guy who raped her) and then doing time online ... (a really short book about a boy who got in trouble for doing something he didn't do ... and as punishment, he has to online chat w/ an older person at the local police station ... it's a really good quick read if ur interestied in things like that) ... i didn't really like the noughts and crosses trilogy ... i tried the first book out ... it's not my kinda thing

I've read the noughts and crosses book and pretty much all of P.P's work. I adore him! My stepmum told me about lovely bones but i never really got around to finding it!

I'm just finishing Not without my daughter by Betty Mahmoody. It's about an american who marries an Iranian doctor. Then he takes them to iran (her and their five year old daughter) and wont let them leave. people keep telling her to escape without her daughter Mahtob, but she refuses! It's true and everything. I think it's amazing.

Stephan King is awesome, although crazy at times, brilliant all the same
Garth Nix is great for an easier read
Dean Koontz is a great thriller writer, although most of his stories all seem the same
Peter Straub is also crazy but i liked some of his stories
Ann Rice is the queen of darkness

I read Lovely Bones, it was fairly good although not my favorite book since im more into the horror scene

Yeah Stephen King is amazing- he actually did a book with Peter Straub. Its called Dark House.

Dean koontz is a brilliant writer, I read his book “Velocity” recently which is a thriller about a murderer and a sort of victim except it has horrible twists- at the risk of sounding a cliché- I couldn’t put it down!

Yeah Garth Nix is sort of younger but theyre still very good. Yeah sabriel is one of his books from the Abhorsen trilogy. I started Sabriel or whichever was the first one and couldn’t really get into it. Apparently once you get going its good though…I just cant be assed! Lol

I recently read “the client” by John Grisham which was amazing. Its about an eleven year old kid called Mark who, by freak chance, discovers a secret that can get him killed if he tells, and imprisoned if he doesn’t. It all gets a bit complicated for the poor kid- all the more exciting for the reader! Lol

the shadow children..isnt that by Steven Schnur and Herbert Tauss?
or am i thinking of something else?

whats the nazi officer's wife about? im guessing a nazi officer's wife but yeah...lol
